Here is our Class Charter:
Article 19: You should not be harmed and should be looked after and kept safe.
- We share and listen
- Sharing is caring
- We use inside voices
- We use kind words and hands and good manners.
Adults will look after us and remind us when things are harmful and how our rules keep us safe.
Article 28: Your right to learn and go to school.
Article 29: Your right to become the best you can be.
- We will come to school on time everyday
- We will use good listening and thinking
- We will ask questions and persevere
- We will make mistakes, try again and tell others how we got out of the pit
- We celebrate our differences
Adults will involve us in our learning, teach us and help us to learn new things that are interesting and exciting. Help us to celebrate our achievements and the effort we make.
Article 31: Your right to relax and play.
- We will be kind, polite, care and share with everyone
- We will use the calm area and respect others who need quiet time
- We will be mindful and reflect each day
- We will take care of our classroom and school to make it safe and happy
Adults will show how we take care of our classroom and ensure we learn how to relax and have opportunities each day.

Building Learning Power
We want our pupils to be curious, confident and independent learners. We develop learning habits which raise achievement, improve behavior and increase enjoyment in learning.
Being stuck means we are learning, learning ways to become unstuck.
The importance and the skills we need for working together.
To understand why we need to ask goodquestions and what a good question may be.
What is a good listener and what do we need to do.
Using our minds eye and wondering ‘what if…’
Being able to working things out methodically and being able to give your own point of view.
This term we will be building the learning habit of ‘Meta-Learning’ knowing yourself as a learner – how you learn best. How to talk about the learning process
