Croeso i Flwyddyn 3/4
Our theme this term is 'The UK'
This term, pupils will be studying the UK. Within this, pupils will become familiar with the UK on a national scale, create an Epistolary (story through letters) create a Golden Moment presentation, produce a piece of art using gold paint to represent the golden moment, create a weather forecast and calculate rainfall. For Science, students will study sounds around us, our sense of hearing and how it impacts on our everyday lives? Pupils will create sound protectors and carry out a fair test investigation to test which materials would be most suitable to protect ears and explain findings using scientific vocabulary.
Below is a rough outline of the many possibilities and experiences your child may encounter to develop a variety of literacy, numeracy, digital and other cross-curricular skills.
