School Council 2018
Our School Council are elected by their class to represent their views. Their job is to improve our school. The School Council gives pupils in the school a strong 'voice' in how the school is run. They meet regularly with Mrs Williams, Headteacher and they discuss things like how the school lunches can be improved, the school anti bullying policy or ideas for improving the school grounds.
Members of the school council are responsible for carrying out the ideas that have been agreed, such as planning playground activities or suggesting ideas to raise money for our school. Other pupils in the class give their views to the School Council through our VocalEyes platform.
We think our School Council is effective because:
- We have regular meetings
- Everyone contributes
- We discuss ideas that have been brought up on VocalEyes
- We are good at communicating with our classes
- We get things done!
Article 12 - The right to say what we think should happen and be listened to.
